The Secretary General of the CGT is a stubborn

The Secretary General of the CGT is a stubborn. After having appeared to back a bit backwards on its plans for reorganisation of the Directorate of the Central, the following as it prepares to turn upside down the Confederal Office, the team upgraded around the number a Manager daily policy of the Confederation. In the last national confederal Committee prior to the Congress, which will open next Monday at Nantes for a week, the Union leader had announced an Office at 8 and not 12. In view of the planned departures, this would lead to one or two arrivals, who have monitored closely from the perspective of an estate, since even if Bernard Thibault did not say, everyone knows that he will begin his last term.

But everything is complicated. It was already known that two numbers 2, Maryse Dumas and Jean-Christophe Le Duigou, leaving its decision-making bodies. Departure does not stop there. Of the 12 current members of the bureau, it goes more to stay only three: Bernard Thibault, of course, the Confederal Secretary responsible press, Agnès Naton, and the Treasurer and a Director of the CGT that handles, as such, Confederal staff, Michel Doneddu. And much. The latter would be requested from and should not be more than two years. It will not be the most late. It is highly contested, notably for its management of staff - the CGT section seeks to Horn and cry a HRD and still a threat of a strike-, but also to some computer choice who did lose a lot of money to the organization.

Five newcomers should make their entrance to the Office. None have really been in the spotlight of the ramp: Nadine Prigent, health, there is a return, Michèle Chay, of the Federation trade-services, one of the areas where the Central believes it is a high margin of progression, Philippe Lattaud, in the Val-, Agnès the Bot, of Calais, who worked on the professional social security, and Mohamed Oussedikthe Federation of the glass, but also responsible for industrial policy. Some consider that these last two might come as a surprise, but it cannot talk about succession, especially as the former members of the bureau (Daniel Sanchez, Francine Blanche, Maurad Rabhi, particularly) will keep their files even if they will not be in the Office but only to the Executive Board, body of 50 members which branch upgraded the SGC.

Focus power

The aim justifies the General Secretary of the CGT, it is to move the location of the Office to Executive Board decision. But in addition to its workforce, it should be noted that half of its members will be renewed in Nantes, so will have to learn.

This reform of the "governance" of the CGT thus appears rather as a way for Bernard Thibault to concentrate power in his hands for his last term, where he wants to carry out difficult reforms of structure, and retain a key role... It is also a way for him to not to tie its hands on the choice of his future successor, that may be derived from the Office or, more likely, the Executive Board.
