Great food and charming ambiance make THE KAWAIHAE HARBOR GRILL an extraordinary dining experience! Nestled alongside the Seafood Bar and located in the historic Chock Ho general store built in the early 1900’s, the Grill embraces its guest with the warmth, charm and culture of old Hawaii.

Our passion to create a first rate fresh fish restaurant is reflected in a menu that offers locally caught fish complimented with the finest in seasonal, locally grown vegetables. In addition to our Chef’s nightly specials, signature dishes include Hawaiian style steamed fish, Maine lobster grown out locally, Thai seafood curry, steamed clams and crab cakes, while smoked Marlin, seared Island poke and Asian baby back ribs continue to be local favorites. We offer full cocktail service, tropical drinks and a fine wine list to compliment our menu.

The Kawaihae Harbor Grill welcomes families and is available for private parties. We take reservations for parties of six or more and can accommodate up to seventy people*. There is ample parking adjacent to the restaurant and shuttle service may be available to and from Kohala Coast hotels if pre-scheduled.
